- 300 ml Heavy Cream
- 30 g Flour
- 5 g Vanilla Essence
- 120 g Kunafa Dough
- 25 g Ghee
- 4 g Rose Petals
- 23 g Pistachio, Crushed
Preparation
-
1Preheat oven to 200 degrees making sure oven rack is placed in the center of the oven. Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan, and layer with a sheet of parchment paper. Lightly butter this parchment paper sheet.
-
2Beat softened cream cheese and NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk® in a stand mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
-
3Add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla. Reduce mixer speed to low, then slowly stream in the heavy cream.
-
4Turn off the mixer, sift in the flour, and fold it into the batter until combined.
-
5Mix ghee with kunafa and set on the base of the cake mold (keep a small amount on the side for decorating) and bake for 12 min before you pour the cheese mix in.
-
6Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until top has turned golden brown, the edges are set, but the center still has a jiggle to it.
-
7Let the cheesecake cool on the counter until it comes to room temperature, then chill it for another few hours in the fridge.
-
8Top with the remaining kunafa dough (baked) and garnish with rose petals and crushed pistachios.
-
9Slice and serve cold.
