As temperatures rise, keeping your menu exciting and refreshing is key. Here are some tips and tricks, featuring a Nestlé Professional exclusive recipe:

1. Refresh Your Summer Coffee Offerings:

Coffee isn't just a morning staple; it's also a great base for refreshing summer beverages. Introduce new and exciting coffee drinks to elevate your menu and attract more customers. One such creation is the Baklava Frappe, a delightful blend of rich espresso, creamy textures, and the nutty sweetness of baklava flavors. This middle eastern twist on coffee is perfect for hot summer days.

2. Create Frozen Treats and Desserts:

Frozen desserts are essential for summer. From sorbets and ice creams to frozen yogurts and popsicles, offering a variety of frozen treats can attract customers looking to cool down. Check out our KitKat Ice Cream Taco Recipe in the previous article, and experiment with unique flavors and combinations, such as tropical fruits, mint, or even savory elements, like Nestle Professional’s Condensed Milk or Dolce de Leche Caramel Sauce.

3. Develop No-Cook or Minimal-Cook Recipes:

On scorching hot days, the last thing chefs would want is to spend hours over a hot stove. Developing no-cook or minimal-cook recipes can save time and keep the kitchen cool. Salads, ceviche, and cold pasta dishes are great options that require little to no cooking. Take advantage of Nestle Professional’s range of seasoning products to support minimal cooking and consistent flavoring.

4. Implement a Seasonal Specials Board:

Keeping a rotating seasonal specials board allows you to highlight the freshest ingredients and keep the menu dynamic. This flexibility lets you experiment with new dishes and gauge customer reactions to different offerings.

By integrating these tips into your summer menu strategy, you can keep your offerings exciting and refreshing, ensuring your customers enjoy a memorable dining experience despite the summer heat
