This intriguingly cool dessert combines the creamy delight of homemade ice cream with the irresistible crunch of Kit Kat and fresh berries, all nestled in a fun, taco-shaped shell.
INGREDIENTS
For the ice cream:
- 500ml Fresh Cream
- 200g NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 20ml Vanilla Syrup
- 100g Glucose
For the sweet taco dough:
- 60g Flour
- 90g Sugar Powder
- 90g Corn Flour
- 7g Vanilla Syrup
- 60g Butter
- 90g Egg White
For the stuffing:
- 50g KITKAT® Mix In
- 130g KITKAT® Spread
- 13g Dried Berries
- 15g Fresh Raspberries
- 7g Mint Leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
Sweet Taco Dough:
- Combine all ingredients in a dough mixer and mix for 3 minutes until you get a soft dough.
- Cut the dough into round shapes, thinly spread them on a baking tray, and bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 4 minutes.
- Immediately place the baked dough onto a round cylinder (like a rolling pin or a thick dowel) and let it cool to achieve the taco shape.
Ice Cream:
- In a saucepan, bring the cream, sugar, glucose, and NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk to a boil.
- Stir in the vanilla syrup.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until you have soft-serve ice cream.
Stuffing:
- Spread the inside of each cooled taco shell with KITKAT® Spread.
- Add a scoop of ice cream.
- Top with KITKAT® Mix In and garnish with fresh raspberries and mint leaves.
